After messing around with digital art and illustration for a while now with no real purpose and very sporadic effort, I have now decided to take it a bit more seriously. I am concentrating at the moment on improving my technical skills and learning new techniques. Basically practice, practice practice. So some of the deviations will be done purely for skills practice with little or no though to content and /or composition.
I've decided to carry a sketchbook with me everywhere I go and spend my time on the train and stuff sketching out new ideas for deviations. That will be more focused on content and composition. Hopefully after a while I will be able to combine the two aspects and create some proper deviations I am proud of.
